The Weeknd was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he debuted ‘Open Hearts’, a new song from his just-released album Hurry Up Tomorrow. It’s a cinematically black-and-white performance that seems to hint at the surrealist aesthetic of the album and its accompanying film – out in theaters May 16 – and ends with a chilling stop-motion animation. Hurry Up Tomorrow sreves the closing installment in the Weeknd’s trilogy, following 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM. It includes the previously shared singles ‘Timeless’ and ‘São Paulo’.
