Porridge Radio are calling it quits. The Bright band announced the news today while sharing ‘Don’t Want to Dance’, the lead single from their final release. The Machine Starts to Sing, an EP of songs recorded during the sessions for last year’s Clouds in the Sky They Will Always Be There for Me, will be released on February 21 via Secretly Canadian. The EP was produced by Dom Monks (Big Thief, Laura Marling). Check out ‘Don’t Want to Dance’ below, along with the band’s upcoming tour dates, which will be their last.
“This is the last new music from Porridge Radio and marks the end of the band,” Dana Margolin shared. “The songs on this EP are an important part of Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me, and mean a lot to us. We are excited for you to hear them. This band has been our life, we’re family now. These tours will be our last. Thanks so much for listening.”
